Famous Person I Like #47: Keith Flint

This week's Famous Person is none other than Keith Flint. Not quite a household name, but he's quite possibly contributed to the arts far more than Roland Flint ever has.

That comment has everything to do with my opinion of poets.

Keith Charles Keef Flint

Read (and watch!) more after the jump.

British born and raised, Keith had a typical childhood; he moved around and his parents split. In the '80s, the music genre of electronica was thrust upon the world and we, as a species, more-or-less did not look back.

Keith was chillin' in a rave club one night when he met DJ Liam Howlett. After receiving a mixtape of Howlett's own music, Keith convinced him to start playing it on stage. Keith officially became the dancer of the newly born electronica band:

But like all Flints, Keith was destined for greatness. Keith achieved his fame when he starred as vocalist for the band's 1996 single Firestarter.

Since then, he's had a side project, more songs as lead and back up vocals, and become a bit of a symbol of British Punk style.

The Prodigy is still producing music and Firestarter is still being referenced in pop culture today.

And yes, I know what every single one of you is thinking:

You just gotta respect a guy who dances like that.

Also, his wife is a total babe known as DJ Gedo Super Mega Bitch.

And I have just one thing I wish to say to Keith Flint,

Boss moves, Boss.
